[mosquitto-dev] Version 2.0.22 released and 2.1 news

Version 2.0.22 of Mosquitto is now available, it is a bugfix release.

Version 2.1 is well overdue. I have finally managed to complete all of
the features that I consider to be necessary for this release. There
are quite a lot of changes already in place, and particularly changes
that need packaging updates. As it has been so long since the 2.0
release, I want to get it right with 2.1.0 and reduce the chance of
any hasty bug fixes soon after.

As such, I'm suggesting that the current state of the develop branch
code be considered to be a release candidate, not in that it might be
released as it is but to encourage everyone to try it out and report
back with any problems before the actual release, which I'd hope to do
in around a month. In the meantime, highlighting existing issues that
need dealing with would be helpful.

I also want to stress that this isn't a declaration of an absolute
feature freeze, small new features could still be accepted just fine -
(with appropriate tests of course - test code coverage as it is
measured is now up to 80% and I don't want that to slip)

The source is available in the git develop branch for the keen people.
I'm not available to look at this for the next week, but will be
making binary packages available for testing where practical.

I also hope to provide more details on significant changes to make it
easier to test.
