Hi,

In the 2.3 branch we have collected a small but important number of bug fixes recently, and therefore would like to release this branch as 2.3.17.

I already staged a binary at https://jakarta.oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/staging/org/glassfish/jakarta.faces/2.3.17/ which passed the TCK.

If there are no objections I'll push this out to Maven Central later today.
