Re: [models4privacy] Announcement: Open meeting Thurs June 6th - Guest Speaker W3C DPV

At our Models4Privacy meeting we were delighted to welcome Harshvardhan Pandit who shared the W3C work on a Data Protection Vocabulary (DPV) and Georg Philip Krog, co-founder of Signatu, who provided a DPV use case (see attached Introduction slides).  For those of you who weren't able to attend, here is a link to Harsh's slides that includes some information on Signatu.  https://github.com/coolharsh55/presentations/blob/master/2024/Eclipse-Models4Privacy/DPV-EclipseModels4Privacy-2024.pdf

W3C is finalizing V2.0 of the DPV so there is a short window of opportunity if you wish to provide feedback to Harsh.  If you are interested in a demo of Signatu to see how DPV has been implemented, go to https://signatu.com/

The Eclipse Models4Privacy Interest Group welcomes you to join us at this open Zoom meeting on Thursday June 6th (16:00 UTC/ 17:00 WEST / 18:00 CEST / 12:00 noon EST).

We are pleased to have Harshvardhan J. Pandit, W3C Data Privacy Vocabularies and Controls CG (DPVCG) join us as a guest speaker.  He will introduce the W3C work on Data Privacy Vocabularies (DPV).

As a community with a focus on models for privacy engineering, this will be a great opportunity to explore how our respective work intersects and how to create synergies to promote the use, creation and sharing of privacy models as a common language for descriptive capabilities.

To register and receive the Zoom link, please respond through this mail list channel or email collaborations@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please also promote through your other networks/communities of interest - we welcome the opportunity to raise awareness about our work.
