The only complication I see is that many of
these documents maintained in the “OMG Members Area” and require a
username/password to access. I’ve got access through our membership, as
do many on this list I’m sure, but not everyone will.
So, how to have an open and transparent discussion in the public Eclipse
mailing list about documents closed to OMG members only? Or, did the
Foundation make an arrangement to share its username/password with its entire
community when it joined the OMG? :)

OMG. We do not typically vote. However, it occurred to me that if there were
ballots that the Modeling PMC felt strongly enough to advise the EMO on how to
vote, we would be happy to do so on behalf of the community.
My only request is that the conversation happen publicly on the PMC mailing
list, and that any request to vote includes a link to the mail archive to where
the PMC discussed and voted on its recommendation to the EMO.
