Dear MicroProfile community,
The Call for Proposals for Open Community Experience 2027 (OCX27) is now open. OCX27 takes place 13 to 15 April 2027 in Brussels, organised by the Eclipse Foundation.
The Modern software development track has a block on designing resilient distributed architectures, which is MicroProfile territory. The program committee is looking for sessions such as:
- Microservices and distributed systems
- Containers and orchestration
- Observability, monitoring and performance under load
If you have run MicroProfile services in production, moved an application from a monolith to microservices, or built fault tolerance and telemetry that held up, the committee wants that talk.
The committee wants talks grounded in real experience: a working implementation, a lesson learned the hard way, or practical knowledge other teams can use. First-time speakers are welcome.
Early bird deadline: 9 November 2026.
