Hi there,
We would like to proactively address concerns that have been raised about the recent electronic vote on a motion to approve Funding MicroProfile Tutorials with the 2023 Budget. We’ve reviewed the voting results contained in email communication on the Steering Committee mailing list.
Out of 13 eligible voters, the results were as follows:

Oracle +1
Payara +1
IBM +1
Hunan +1
Primeton +1
Fujitsu +1
iJug +1
Garden State +1
Tomi Tribe 0
Three Eligible Members did not vote:
Red Hat
Atlanta Jug
Emerson Castaneda - Committer Rep
Please note abstentions are not counted in either the numerator nor denominator.
As a result, quorum was achieved and the simple majority vote passed with 9 in favor.
Please refer to the Voting Topic in the Eclipse Foundation Working Group Operations Guide as well as the information contained in the Practical Guide to being a Working Group Representative Guide (Slide 16-18).
The vote took place on the steering committee mailing list and thus meets necessary requirements from the Eclipse Foundation’s perspective.
