MP 6.1 still includes the current MP Metrics (with an update in the plan). Considering our past stance in the Observability space, our initial thought was to vote -1, but considering there is a plan for MP 7.0 to move to OpenTelemetry Metrics we vote 0 instead.

The MicroProfile Specification Process requires the Specification Committee and the Community to provide feedback during the approval process using the relevant documents:

This ballot runs for seven days, so it ends on July 5th, 2023. The ballot requires a Super-majority positive vote of the Steering Committee members.  There is no veto. Community input and Community votes are welcomed. However, only the votes delivered by Steering Committee Representatives will be counted.
