Just let you know the current status of MicroProfile 6.0.
MicroProfile 6.0 and the final versions of the following updated component specifications are all staged. Below is the current status.
MicroProfile OpenAPI 3.1 - ballot voting period has ended. The voting result will be announced shortly
MicroProfile Telemetry 1.0 - ballot in progress
MicroProfile Metrics 5.0 - ballot planning to start on 22nd November
MicroProfile JWT 2.1 - ballot planning to start on 22nd November
The overall MicroProfile 6.0 - ballot planning to start on 22nd November.
Open Liberty 22.0.0.13-beta will be used for the compatible implementation for MicroProfile Metrics 5.0, JWT 2.1 and the overall MicroProfile 6.0. All TCKs including the 8 MicroProfile component specifications and Jakarta EE 10 Core Profile have been tested successfully. The CCRs will be published in due course.
However, there was a last-minute conversation regarding lowering the criteria of compatible implementations for certifying MicroProfile 6.0.

The above conversations are last minute. Please share your opinions directly on the corresponding PRs. I suggest if the PRs can't be resolved before 22nd November, the PRs should be closed and use the ballot to vote for the release. The plan is to keep the current release date for MicroProfile 6.0.
I would like to remind the group that there was no release in the past 12 months. There were not many functionality updates for nearly 2 years. It is crucial to get MicroProfile 6.0 out this year to maintain the confidence of the MicroProfile end users.
