Re: [microprofile-wg] [BALLOT] [MicroProfile GraphQL 2.0] Specification Release Review - Vote extended to 15th April

Hi Jan,
Thanks for noticing this! I will have this fixed and do a service release after the 2.0 release as the empty section was introduced from the very beginning, 1.0 release of the spec. For your information, if we re-release the artifacts, we need to redo the ballot. I think this kind of fix is more suitable for a service release.

Thanks
Emily

+1 (iJUG)

Is there any reason not remove the (2nd) empty chapter in the spec document for THIS release?
It looks like a simple unintended duplication of the head line - so from my perspective it's like a typo and could be fixed without a new vote/ballot - it's just a simple finding of the review and should be removed because it confuses readers.
Best,
Jan

Based on this week's technical call, I have updated the CCR accordingly with the new test result against the staged TCK jar (same to 2.0-RC3). As a consequence, this ballot will be extended for another week, ending on 15th April. The existing votes still count, so if you have voted, you don't need to revote. The extension is to allow the members who have not voted to cast their votes. I would appreciate it if you could vote as soon as possible. The vote will end immediately after the 3 votes (Red Hat, Tomitribe, iJUG) have been received.

Thanks
Emily

To approve and ratify the Release Review of MicroProfile GraphQL 2.0 Specification, the Steering Committee Representatives vote is requested. Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1 (reject).  Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated.

The MicroProfile Specification Process requires the Specification Committee and the Community to provide feedback during the approval process using the relevant documents:

https://github.com/microprofile/microprofile-wg/issues/127

This ballot runs for fourteen days, so it ends on April 5th. The ballot requires a Super-majority positive vote of the Steering Committee members.  There is no veto. Community input and Community votes are welcomed. However, only the votes delivered by Steering Committee Representatives will be counted.
