Re: [microprofile-wg] [External] : [BALLOT] [MicroProfile GraphQL 2.0] Specification Release Review - Please try to VOTE by April 5th
 |

We've been trying to troubleshoot and successfully run the TCK
with our implementation and have not yet been successful. Since
the ballot closes today, our choices are to abstain, or request
ballot extension. I don't know what others are thinking. We do not
want to discourage this work. We've been trying to get help on The Graph
QL Gitter, but so far, we haven't succeeded with our
implementation. (I realize this isn't strictly a requirement for
      the Spec.)

If others are intending to vote to approve this today, we don't
need to ask for an extension. However, if others also need more
time, I think an extension is an option we could consider and
Oracle would be happy to request it, per the process of the EFSP
(I believe it can be extended for up to 30 days from the original
      start).

To approve and ratify the Release Review of
MicroProfile GraphQL 2.0
Specification, the Steering Committee Representatives vote is
requested. Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1
(reject).  Any feedback that you can provide to support your
        vote will be appreciated.

        The
MicroProfile Specification
Process requires the Specification Committee and the Community
to provide feedback during the approval process using the
        relevant documents:

        This
ballot runs for fourteen
days, so it ends on April 5th. The
ballot
requires a Super-majority positive vote of the Steering
Committee members.  There is no veto. Community input and
Community votes are welcomed. However, only the votes delivered
by Steering Committee Representatives will be counted.
