RE: [mdt.dev] Fwd: [cross-project-issues-dev] Helios review	--important dates
 |
Hi Kenn,

I've committed the OCL IP log html snapshot for
Helios to
www/modeling/mdt/ocl/project-info/ocl-ip-log-3.0.0

Regards,
- Alex.

Team,
As mentioned earlier, the deadline for docuware and IP logs is rapidly
approaching. Please prepare your docuware ASAP so that I can create a rolled-up
one for MDT as a whole.
Since most (all?) MDT projects are still not using the automated IP log
tool, this amounts to each of the projects copying their static file and saving
it with a name based on the release. For example, for UML2 we copied
.../modeling/mdt/uml2/eclipse-project-ip-log.csv to
.../modeling/mdt/uml2/project-info/uml2-ip-log-3.0.0.csv.
Thanks,
Kenn

Subject: Fwd: [cross-project-issues-dev] Helios
review -- important dates
To: Eclipse Modeling PMC <
modeling-pmc@xxxxxxxxxxx>
Team,
Note that the deadline for submitting your docuware for the Helios release
is this coming Friday, May 28. Note that a presentation-style
document is no longer necessary; I would suggest instead that we create a wiki
page for each of our projects which contains the necessary information (see last
year's docuware for examples). I would like to request that each (operating)
project do this by end of day Thursday, so that leads of container projects
(e.g., EMF, EMFT, MDT, etc.) have time on Friday to create a rolled-up page
for the container project as a whole.
May 28 is also the deadline for submitting your IP log for review. As in
the past, you'll need to create a snapshot of your IP log and put it somewhere
(e.g., in CVS) so that it will never change and can be referenced at some point
in the future.
Please forward this information to your development mailing list as
appropriate. If you have any questions or need any help with the above, don't
hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Kenn

Hello Helios participants,
Thanks for your
continuing work on making the upcoming release train a success! Here's some
information about getting ready for the review. Unlike most reviews, we'll do
this one on a conference call. The conference call numbers are listed in the
Portal [1].
Important dates:
IP Logs due: Friday, May
28
Docuware due: Friday, May 28
Helios Review: Friday, June 11
Helios
Release: Wednesday, June 23
IP Log: Please use the IP Log tool to submit
your IP Log. If it doesn't work for your project for some reason,
please submit your log
manually to emo-ip-team@xxxxxxxxxxx.
Docuware: In addition
to the regular review docuware, please submit a very simple, brief additional
file that summarizes what you are bringing to the release -- just one or two
paragraphs, or a few bullet points is all we're looking for here. We'll
combine the short files to create a longer one that applies to the entire
release.
Please note that
simple text files are fine for reviews -- there is no requirement to create a
presentation-style document. As long as the required information is there, you
can use whatever format you prefer. A list of required docuware contents is on
the Eclipse wiki. [2]
