[mdt-papyrus.dev] RE: [Opees-papyrus-general] TR: FW: Papyrus

Hi again and sorry for the delay,

About the improvements that have been done on the Sequence and Activity diagrams, Javier Cano is working now so that our last changes can be committed as soon as possible. Anyway, the changes made since the meeting in Toulouse are the following:
- New features
    * Labels attached to BorderedItems can now move freely around the diagram (This couldn't be done before as labels could only move around a fixed rectangle that wrapped the bordered item).
    * Interactions from sequence diagram can now be initialised graphically (This means that the user can do "Delete from diagram" over an Interaction and, afterwards, drag&drop it on the diagram again. All the messages and BES will be created graphically in their corresponding order. Graphically awesome, I must say)

- Bugs corrected
* ActivityD & SequenceD: Color can be now be changed to all graphical figures through the Appearence tab.
* SequenceD: Now, messages can only be drawn between Lifelines/BES beloging to the same Interaction.
* SequenceD: Solved an error when deleting an Interaction with lifelines and messages.
* SequenceD: Only Interactions should have the option Delete From Diagram. This is because all the message ordering is done with the current position of the elements in the diagram. If a Message/BES is deleted from the diagram, new created elements cannot establish their regarding the hidden elements that are already ordered.
* ActivityD & SequenceD: Links are refreshed/re-drawn correctly when the user changes de ends manually (through the property tabs or the navigator)
* SequenceD: Solved a problem when moving BES figures.
* ActivityD & SequenceD: Possibility of filtering graphical views.

About what we plan to do:
* Check if the current backbone gives now support for the GMF EditingDomains (Maybe Cedric could gives us a more accurate information).
* Modify the layout of the ActivityPartitions so that they can be used both horizontally and vertically.
* CombinedFragments movement -> The movement of the contained elements according to the movement of the CombinedFragment should be discussed as CombinedFragment only "covers" other elements in order to make a grouping I'm not very fond of that idea as it is quite common to want to widen/reduce/move the covered area but without moving what lies beneath.
* Support for BES over BES (currently, BehaviorExecutionSpecifications cannot be nested).
* Continue with a few recipes that still haven't been added to the Cookbook.

Will let you know as soon as all the changes are committed.

Regards,
Gabriel.

Ok thabnks,

And about the second part of the question:

"BTW, can you make a short minutes on improvement you did on both editors and what do you plan to do for the three incoming weeks on that?"

Thanks so much,
Cheers..Séb.
