Re: [m2t-dev] Status of Jet2 project

Hi

The MDT/M2M/M2T/TMF/... container projects very briefly provided some intermediate composite releases, but that ended long ago. The sole function of the container projects now is to confuse users who do not understand the Eclipse history. All projects have been decontainerized administratively, and, where it is easy, physically, e.g. OCL rather than MDT-OCL in Bugzilla. But traditional spellings such as mdt-ocl-Update-6.9.0M3.zip live on to avoid a transition for users.

Archiving an M2T-contained project presents no particular problems, although it might be nice if someone updated a paragraph on the M2T HTML to reflect the archiving and redirect to Ed Merks' new better code.

Thanks for all the insights.

I guess even archiving will be somewhat hard as it is not a standalone
project but part of m2t.
