    Hey!

    Somebody should _really_ investigate the problems with missing object exceptions in JGit before release. It happens for me sporadically with EGit and Gerrit-2.4rc1
    (which is way worse as the server is stuck afterwards; for EGit i still have to restart Eclipse when this happens, as JGit will never get back to a working state anymore).

    In my opinion JGit is currently not in a releasable state. But 1.3.0 was neither, as it suffers from the same problem.

this sounds nasty, I didn't see that yet. Will try to analyze the problem.


Out-of-memory has previously been a source.
