Good suggestion Ian, we are trying to fix things as we go along but have had one or two things that need to be captured somewhere 

(e.g. api tooling).

Is there any merit in the students creating a "Gotchas" wiki page in
the January repo to store things that may have caught them out, or
concepts that they didn't immediately find intuitive?   These issues
may not be severe enough to justify code changes, but once captured
they may prevent the next new adopter from tripping over.
