[january-dev] IP Validation Check and maven surefire test activated on January

Hello

The IP validation and the maven tests are now activated on January pull requests.

If you are not used to the ip-validation check, it sometimes does not like a pull request with merges, for instance if you press the merge button on github and the merge source cannot be validated. A simple way around this is to rebase your changes on top of master again and push to a new branch for a pull request.

Now that the automated tests are running, I suggest that we ensure if metadata extensions or py4j features do in, that tests join them.

Protected branches for master have not been enabled, which means you can force push to master, I will attempt to rectify that.

Cheerio,

Matt
