Jonah,

The code bases are so close that I think we can even do it on a branch before the release and try to merge it if you want. Whenever we do it, it is best to do it on a branch that we merge into next. I believe we already have January branches for ICE and EAVP too.

As we are moving towards a release of Eclipse January I have been tracking the org.eclipse.january.* plug-ins from EAVP and ICE and will update them so January contains the same thing as EAVP and ICE's releases contain on release date.

After the release we can remove org.eclipse.january.* from EAVP and org.eclipse.ice.datastructures.* from ICE and update them to point to January. 

Is the best idea to do this just after the current next branches get merged into master and next gets reopened for the continued development?
