I think that at the moment, the only valid implementation that comes closest to the specifications of jakarta grpc, is the implementation contained in helidon, perhaps helidon could lead the way by providing a first version of jakarta rpc with their implementation? do you know the team that works on it?

The specification is called Jakarta RPC, so there is no reason why it shouldn't be more generic to cover more alternatives.
Currently, the goal of the specification is to make gRPC easier to use in Java, so that would need to be rewritten slightly. Otherwise, there is nothing preventing that from being the result..
