A committer election for Emily Jiang on project Jakarta EE Platform™ (ee4j.jakartaee-platform) was started by Ivar Grimstad with this criteria: Emily has been a key contributor to the Jakarta EE Platform since its inception. She is active in the calls, on the mailing list, and on the issue trackers. Her help is essential in driving the planning, and delivery of the Jakarta EE Platform, Jakarta EE Web Profile, and Jakarta EE Core Profile specifications forward. She is also active in several of the Specification projects producing individual component specifications for Jakarta EE.
