You all know how I feel about it :)  I had many more slides I drafted and deleted from my presentation.

Wether we intended it or not having a special list with limited access creates this kind of scenario.  It's now a major marketing advantage and people will pursue it with that in mind.

Even though TomEE "made the list" I'd still be happy for us to call the idea a mulligan and go back to "there is only one list and anyone who does the work can get on it at anytime."   That's really the only way to keep our release votes technical as technical deadlines rather than marketing deadlines.

As long as there is a special list, we'll just keep refining the definition and the line between Ratified Implementation and Compatible Implementation will just get darker and darker.
