Of course with some support added, Payara is also based on GlassFish, and I don’t know, if it’s even meant to be compatible with Jakarta EE at least on a platform level, but the name of Arjan’s Piranha also suggests it must be related somehow:

Slightly offtopic for this thread perhaps but it's not directly based on, or related to GlassFish. Then again, I do prefer to use many components from GlassFish, not in the least because I committed a lot to exactly these (like Soteria, Mojarra, etc ;)).

I can somewhat vow for ManageCat absolutely not being a bad actor of any kind. Gurkan (the main person behind the company) is well known in the community. He's a GlassFish committer and among others the original author of the OpenWebBeans project.
