Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] "jstl" or "tags"?

I don't entirely recall the conclusion, but I'll note JSTL is one of the protected acronyms listed here:

I might suggest "taglib" as it's a little more specific.  Something about "tags" feels a little too broad.
