Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] Review for approval: SpecificationCommittee Meeting Minutes February 6th, 2019

Tanja/all,

I don’t have access to the TCK draft document (Google docs usually prefer the Gmail account)

I just requested access, hope the owners or admins of the document can grant it.

As I did a lot enhancing the TCK test suites we saw from CDI or Bean Validation in other JSRs (354, 363, 385) I’d be happy to bring in that experience and help David where I can.

Regards,

Werner

Eclipse Foundation: Wayne Beaton, Tanja Obradovic, Paul Buck, Mike Milinkovich

  • Past business / action items
    • Approval of Meeting min Jan 30th
    • Kevin moved, Alex second, no objections - minutes approved
  • Documents conversion discussion
    • BJ Hargrave joined the call (many thanks!) to discuss the OSGi Alliance's experience converting Framemaker documents to DocBook. Oracle is converting Framemaker documents to Asciidoc. While no formal consensus was reached on the call, we are leaning heavily to making Asciidoc the standard.
  • Jakarta EE Spec process
  • TCK process - David Blevins leading the effort
    • TCK Process v1.0 - DRAFT
    • ACTION for ALL: Please review the draft document above for the next call. Volunteers are greatly appreciated as well as comments / suggestions. Ideally we’d like to close on TCK Process v1.0,  as soon as possible and no later than end of February.

The link to the working document with these minutes is here.

Many thanks!

Tanja
