Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] VOTE: Approval to create the Jakarta EE NoSQL project

+1

At this stage I will vote +1. I do think that to make it into a platform profile that the project will have to get a more diversified committer and contributor base and see a level of real world adoption. I would also like to see how it sits alongside the JPA specification.

Thanks

Steve

Greetings Jakarta EE Specification Committee

Please review the Jakarta EE NoSQL project proposal. Per the draft Eclipse Foundation Specification Process, version 1.0, I require a super-majority vote of the members of the Jakarta EE Specification Committee to successfully complete a Creation Review and then start the process of standing up the project.

I hereby request that the Specification Committee vote to approve the creation of this first Specification Project.

Please respond to this note with:
+1 to approve;
-1 to reject; or
0 to abstrain.

If you do choose to reject or abstain, I would appreciate a short (one or two sentence) explanation.

I will assemble the results and publish them on the recordthat we're using to track this process.

I would like to resolve this on November 21/2018. Your vote in advance of that date will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Wayne
