Unfortunately the Batch job definition API in slides 28, 30 is still just an idea. We didn’t actually do a Batch update in EE 11. It is still at Batch 2.1, (so you still get the Java 21 support from the
platform, but that’s it).

While EE 11 is obviously not quite done yet, I would like to begin working on the Jakarta EE Ambassadors' shared deck. Here is the first draft:
