I’m really enthusiastic about this lineup. It feels like the perfect moment to revamp the WG and show the community how much momentum we have. To make sure we hit the ground running, I’d like to get us together for a brief meeting next week.
Our goals for this first sync are simple:
- Confirming your attendance at OCX and participation in the BoF session.
- Briefly introduce ourselves and our projects/topics.
- Identify any specific resources we need to request for the BoF.
- Start shaping the agenda to ensure we have a cohesive and impactful session.
This will also be the space to clear up any questions you have about the event or the format. I’ve set up a
survey with several slots. Please vote for what works best for you by
Tuesday, the 10th, at 12:00PM.A note on scheduling: I am aware that Embedded World is taking place next week and that some of you will be busy on-site. I know this makes finding a common time slot difficult. If you can’t make the group meeting, I am happy to sync with you briefly before and after. Furthermore, if we face significant difficulties meeting as a group, I will take the lead on gathering the info we need for the request and share it with you all for feedback; we can then meet shortly after to continue our preparation.
The official
deadline to submit our BoF request is March 13th, so my priority is ensuring we have our participation secured and a solid plan submitted on time.
During our meeting, we can also discuss how we will stay in touch. If a dedicated Matrix channel would be helpful for quick coordination, or would you prefer to keep the conversation in this email thread for now.
