I am no Go expert but to me it looks as if the only folder that contains the
source code of this component is the "pkg" folder. All other folders contain
build and/or helper scripts etc. In particular the "vendor" folder seems to
contain the source code of all dependencies. My understanding of the way Go
works is that all of that source code is also compiled when building this
component and statically linked into the resulting binary. Is that correct?
