The provisioning of the IoT top level project is complete and all of
the affected projects have been moved. Richard will be closing the
"move" bugs shortly.
I see that all of our PMC members were copied on the bug [1] we used
to track this, so I assume that this isn't new news to anybody :-)
As part of the provisioning process, the IoT project has a presence
in the PMI [2]. I've set it up with basic information (description,
scope, website url, static copy of the charter, etc.). PMC members
have the necessary permissions to edit this information.
The PMC mailing list will be used by our systems to inform you when
your input is required into the various processes (CQ and committer
election approvals, for example). As a PMC, you need to sort out how
you want to handle these: you might opt, for example, to take turns;
or, you can handle requests in a more ad hoc
whoever-gets-there-first manner.
FWIW, there's a CQ waiting for your approval now [4].
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Congratulations!
Wayne
