Re: [ide-dev] Strange download numbers

I don't think the installations created by installers are counted as updates... 

I don't know if the download counts next to each packages counts updates or only downloads.  Even installers can be download once and reused (and updated)...

I do know the numbers have looked like this for years so if something is strange its been strange for a very long time.

Are the installations done with the installer not counted as installations?

For example https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/2021-09/r has more installs as installer downloads.

If users download the installer but do not install I think that is unexpected.
