Hi Simon,
could you please send us the two versions of the UML model: (1)
before and (2) after applying the profile. Apparently, applying the
profile changed something in the model that prevents the
transformation. We need to find this difference in the two versions.
Cheers,
Christian

Thanks for your help.
here is a uml model example, with a profile it use.
a simple rule is here: discover an activity node, and add a
owned comment.
i test it with a uml plugin created uml model, it works. but
if i apply a profile to the uml model (My.uml) . it doesn't . you
can use uml editor to apply stereotype to the element in the uml
model.

test rule in default.henshin file.
and by the way, i imported this
registered ecore file as the meta-model in the henshin file.

Simon Han

Hi
Simon,
could you send us (parts of) your example? Then we can have a
look at it.

Dear Christian,
i am now trying to use the new released Henshin 0.9.0.
i imported the uml ecore file as the meta-model, and
directly apply rules on uml models.
it seems if test rules on pure uml models, the
transformation works, but if the model has any profiles
applied (a lot of uml models contains personalized profiles
for stereotype, graphical position etc).
the rule will not work.
how handle this problem?
and will the transformation rule recognize a uml element
if it contains applied stereotype?
thanks for your answering.
yours sincerely,
Simon Han
