I followed your advice and did not work (much) over Easter :-)
To give you an update:
EclipseLink 3.0.1 - I'm running QL, so PR for that will be in a while
Metro 3.0.1 - is there a chance there will be gmbal 4.0.3 available in
staging today? I can live without it, I only need to know if it makes
sense to wait few hours or produce final build right away.
