Hi,

I've been working on JDK 11 compatibility for GlassFish in the 6.1.0 branch. Just now I got everything to compile using JDK 11, which is a big step. Like the jakarta.* work, getting it to compile is only the first step, but an important one.

I did a PR for this work in https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/glassfish/pull/23349

After this, people should start it up and start fixing things where it fails.

They’d like to get Jakarta EE 9.1 out by the end of March which implies that GlassFish 6.1 will be ready by beginning of March. Can we coordinate the Jakarta EE 11 work please. Can anybody who is doing work on JDK 11 compatibility let they list know so we can get the work moving on master and understand whether this date is feasible for us.
