Re: [glassfish-dev] GlassFish 6.0.0-RC3 release to central?

No harm in releasing the RC3 to maven central now. We can then stage a final and re-run testing. I’d like to hear the views of other about releasing final with RC/CRs for Batch, Weld and Bean validation.

Hibernate Validator, Weld, and JBatch are still needed in final versions.

 

With the holiday season I wonder if we’ll see any of these being released this year or even next month. Then again I’m not really sure what their exact roadmap is.

Does RC3 have all the expected changes in it now? I'm trying to determine if I should refresh the d/l pages, or just wait for this to become promoted to 6.0 (final).

Unless someone has a strong desire, I think I'll just wait for the tests to complete so we can know if another candidate will be needed, or not.

Open to suggestions ...
