One more waiting component is Jakarta Annotations and this one turned 
out to be non-trivial to update. Short answer is that in order to update 
jakarta annotations to 2.0.0 (so the ballot etc can start), weld must be 
updated to (at least) 4.0.0.Beta2 which has been released earlier today.
