Re: [glassfish-dev] 2693 Open Issues in Github Repo

For newcomers like me, when you see such a huge list of issues, motivation can always drop a little :) It looks like a shadow project and not updated regularly.
To attract the new committers and qualify the community, we have to do something for the issues.
Is there any possibility to prune (or put into some other state which will become invisible) issues older than 3 years?
Regards.

Tbh  I don't see what else to do. We can't manually trawl through thousands of imported issues. The stale job only looks at issues over 365 days old. If someone knows how to stop the github stale action job on any comment I'm happy to review a PR.

If an issue is still there or valid someone can recreate it.

Just for completness - it seems - for example see https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/glassfish/issues/21096, that it has to be author to respond.
The most of issues is imported by glassfishrobot, so there is kind of no way to stop closing even valid issues.
