The inference of SimpleFeature specifications and converters fails if there are any three dimensional GeoJSON positions.

$ geomesa-accumulo ingest -u root -p secret -c C threeD.json
INFO No converter defined - will attempt to detect schema from input files
ERROR Could not determine converter from inputs - please specify a converter

Setting : log4j.logger.org.locationtech.geomesa=trace in geomesa-accumulo_2.11-2.1.0-SNAPSHOT/conf/log4j.properties causes:
