Re: [geomesa-dev] GeoMesa

Hi Scott,

Great question.  In terms of current open-source visualization libraries, I'd call out the usual suspects: QGIS (http://www.qgis.org), OpenLayers (http://openlayers.org/), and Leaflet (http://leafletjs.com/).  Part of CCRi's primary business is analyzing and visualizing large datasets, and that video uses an internal project based on OpenLayers.  Potentially, we may open-source that code at some point.

For a similar project, you might check out Torque from CartoDB: https://github.com/CartoDB/Torque.

Thanks,

Jim

Is there a client that supports spatio-temporal visualization like in the demo on the main page? I understand the use of CQL to tailor the view, but it would be cool if there are client examples to tailor, integrate, learn from, etc.
