[geogig-dev] Question about GeoGig functioalities

Dear All, 

I’m quite new to GeoGig and I’m currently looking into this for my consulting project. 

I have a question about GeoGig. 

My client has produced vector maps on the same place periodically, several times a year. And they want to know whether these kind of past maps can be managed through GeoGig for the change detection or to know what feature has been added, removed or changed. 

The problem is that 1. there was no unique id of the feature in these time series maps, 2. they changed attribute structure several times by adding/removing or changing field. Under this situation, will GeoGig identify the feature which has the same geometry over the time as the same one?
