Hi Jody,
I'm open to a suggestion of a suggestion of geogig + qgis-geogig.
Is someone up to putting up a suggestion? Starting with answering questions from:

While GeoGig can be used as a java library, or via the command line (and we have a tutorial to that effect) is is much more suitable for OSGeo Live's target audience when integrated in a normal desktop GIS experience.
