AFAICT only the OSM import supports mapping?

There is also documentation about changing feature types in the  pg and shp export. Is there anyway to control this - is this where a mapping could be injected?

Also, when using pg import from a view, it ignores the id field. the docs say:

--fid-attrib <attrib_name>
	Uses the specified attribute as the feature id of each feature to import. If not used, a number indicating the position in the shapefile is used but the command doesnt recognise this.
