Thanks for reaching out!

You're hitting a known issue with our GitHub Copilot integration: only a subset of models is currently available, which you would have available in other tools with the same subscription.
The root cause is that our OAuth application used for the GitHub integration is currently under review by Microsoft, which limits what we can offer through Copilot auth at the moment. We are actively working on getting this resolved and expanding model coverage again.

In the meantime, if you want to use other models, you can configure additional providers directly in Theia AI (e.g. via your own API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). The setup steps are described here: https://theia-ide.org/docs/user_ai/#set-up
(Also, the models you see marked with X require a direct API key from the provider, in this case, Anthropic).

We will share an update on the available models via the Copilot subscription as soon as we have news on the OAuth review.

When I enable copilot in VS Code I am able to access all the model (the ones highlighted in red below)…
