An issue has been identified where Windows Defender may block Theia IDE from starting. This affects both new installations and existing users.

Our team is actively working on a resolution and tracking progress in the GitHub issue: https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia-ide/issues/643. Please refer to this link for updates and available (temporary) workarounds.
