Re: [etrice-dev] [announce] eTrice 0.3 released (corr.)

Hi Peter,

thanks for the encouraging feedback!

As for the extended model validation: Sorry for the lacking documentation. I'm aware that the protocol semantics are not too intuitive without explanation.
Please have a look at the
org.eclipse.etrice.abstractexec.behavior.tests
plugin available from our Git repository.
There are a couple of example models contained which hopefully give you an idea.
There is also a preference page which lets you enable and disable custom validators for eTrice (Preferences > eTrice > Validation Extensions).

We currently have a GSoC project running which aims at providing quick fixes in the graphical behavior editor.

Please don't hesitate to ask further questions.

Hi all,
I send this mail to give some feedback on the new release. Actually it's a great progress, good job!
I installed the 0.3 release and it went smoothly and the java tutorials worked instantly. I migrated an old model and this was no problem at all. Then I played around a bit with the automatic layout and this is really cool.
I wanted to try out the model validation, too, but I could not find any written documentation, so maybe you can point me to what I can expect from the new release.
Great job, congratulations,
Peter
