In order to try and make the M8 build as stable as possible, we are going
to impose an early lock-down on our code like we normally do late in the
release cycle. This means that our build contribution for Friday's M8 will
not change from yesterday's build contribution.

Exceptions are for bug reports which are reported to the platform-releng
mailing list and deemed critical by the whole team. One such bug has
already been reported.

In this case we will create a branch for the M8 contribution and tag from
there. (read: HEAD will not be versioned for Friday)
