Re: [epp-dev] EPP 2026-09 RC2/Final

Hi everyone,

The 2026-09 R release has been published successfully.

https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/

Note that the downloads stats are a bit low but this is driven by a cron job that updates those numbers periodically. I ran the cron job manually to confirm that it works and the numbers increased slightly.

Otherwise, please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Our next milestone build is available for testing: EPP 2026-09 R

No special issues to report!   (Actually there was a little glitch with
the license text for one of the project's entire set of features. but I
repaired that manually, so you won't notice.)

I have been following the steps on
https://github.com/eclipse-packaging/packages/issues/466 - you can see
the checkmarks as to what is done.

Temporary download link:

Final download link:

Note that the download server seems a little flaky (but only for certain
folders) so you can use this URL to view the download content:

https://download.eclipse.org/justj/?file=technology/epp/downloads/release/2026-09/202609031000

I opened this issue:

https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/work_items/7832

EPP was built with the p2 repositories at:

https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2026-09/202609091000/ and
https://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/2026-09/202609031000/

Please test and send your +1 to this mailing list.
Please include links to issues that have been encountered while testing.
Please indicate which os and arch was tested.
Note that even with a -1, the package will be published nevertheless.

Last +1 received for each package and platform (apologies if I missed
one of your +1 emails, just let me know and I will update Last Recorded +1)
