I tested on macOS x64 and Linux aarch64, with Eclipse started from a terminal or from the GUI, and it seems ok.

On Windows, creating the project from the template is ok, but I cannot start the debugger (Error while launching command: arm-none-eabi-gdb --version), apparently a recent update did something weird with the antivirus configuration.

Also, I get terminal windows (with .../startup.exe) each time I start something.

I reverted to the original 2025-12-R and observed the same behaviour, so this must be a local issue on my Windows virtual machine, not an Eclipse issue.

Thanks Liviu for testing - I will proceed with promoting this to a release next week and contribute that final repo to SimRel for the 2026-03 release.
