Thanks for your quick response. Perhaps the fact that many of the 3rd Party Eclipse based IDEs have implemented it, may mean that it's easier now than it was say 3 years ago. I found some references discussing non-stop mode in newer GDBs. And, based on my research, the J-Link GDB Server now provides support that the 3rd Party IDEs are using.

Yes, that would be a nice feature to have.
I did not check how difficult it is to implement it, but I guess it is not trivial.
We'll keep it in mind for future versions, but I have no current time estimates for this.
