the release review is finished, and the release was scheduled for Friday
8th. Yes, that's last Friday. But the release is still waiting to happen.

This is because the Ant script used to promote the most recent release
build to a proper release has a problem creating the necessary
directories on the main download servers. The exception generated by Ant
is not very helpful and, from looking at the source, can mean pretty
much anything (from "Insufficient permissions" to "I don't feel like
creating a directory right now").

I have opened a ticket with the Eclipse foundation to verify that our
build server has the necessary access rights (which it should), and I'll
try to find a solution as soon as possible, but have to prepare a
lecture for Wednesday as well.
