| I suggest with or without Oracle's
involvement, there should be an effort to recruit the community
now. After all, isn't this one of the points of this whole thing?
At the bare minimum this can help
larger vendors focus on the more complex work?

      Thanks, Reza.
         We
did discuss this at this morning's PMC call.  Dmitry indicated
        "not
to worry, Oracle will continue to participate".  And, as you
said, if the work is queued up, it will eventually attract more
        involvement.

This was one of the most active
        Oracle
led Java EE technologies of late to my reckoning. Is there a
        backlog of
work to be done? That will help in recruiting folks from the
        community
now that things are finally moving forward. If there isn't, I
        suggest starting
there. This is one of the hardest things in open source that I
        have seen.
Once you have concrete work items, it is a lot easier to get
        people to
        pitch in.

If a work list is in place, I am
        happy
to try to spread work and recruit folks.

 Hi PMC,
It's come to our attention that a couple of developers are
        leaving (or
have left) Oracle and, thus, leaving the Yasson project.  This
        looks
like it will leave one of my developers (Andy G) and Dmitry as
        the main
contributors.  (There is also an independent developer listed as
        a
committer -- not sure how active Ehsan is...)

My question is whether any of the other PMC members have an
        interest in
getting more involved with this project?  I believe both Red Hat
        and
Payara use Yasson, maybe others use it as well?

Just throwing out a general "help wanted" request, especially
since we're going through the project reorganization process.
         Thanks.
