Someone else seems to associate lions with Jakarta being the airline is based out of there. Not saying this means this logo isn't valid, but in the name and logo of one of the largest airlines in the region ties lions to Jakarta even if
the animals themselves are only in the zoo and not native.
Personally I am a bit tired of all the animals associated with tech projects, O'Reilly had a great run with them on their books and even had lions on a number of covers.

I would like the EF to kindly provide a reason why the lion logo (see attached) was rejected. The ruling says “Decline, as it runs the risk of being associated
with the city of Jakarta.” That is not a valid reason to reject it. There are no lions native to Java, Jakarta, or Indonesia. Please provide a solid reason why it was rejected or put it back into the candidates list.
